ABOUT US

Our philosophy is rooted in self-acceptance, a connection with nature, and care for our bodies and mental wellbeing.
Life is full of challenges and perseverance, warm and joyful moments, achievements and victories. Amid these feelings and events, we need a reserve of energy and composure.

Our body holds all our feelings and experiences and supports us through life. Caring for and protecting it is a special responsibility. Good nutrition, skincare, vitamins and beneficial oils help us feel healthy, attractive, confident and youthful. They support us through the many expressions of our remarkable lives, with kindness towards ourselves and the natural world.

In the Middle East, natural cosmetic oils receive considerable attention, with a wide choice of products for different tastes and budgets. We wanted a quality, affordable product to be available here too. This was the beginning of our search for an ideal oil blend. For a year, we ordered and mixed ingredients and spoke with formulation specialists and cosmetic experts.

We made mistakes and learned the craft. Using ingredients from producers in Spain, Germany, Israel, Japan and Russia, we created an oil for ourselves. We hope you will enjoy it too.

SOLO NATURA cosmetic oil

Jojoba oil moisturises, nourishes and softens the skin. It is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin, because of its light, non-comedogenic texture and its ability to balance sebum. It closely resembles the skin’s natural oils, making it a choice for natural moisturising. It also helps restore the upper skin layer in acne-prone skin and improving the condition and appearance of hair. Jojoba contains long-chain monounsaturated esters. Its moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties may help slow visible ageing and supporting care for skin infections and wounds.
Rosehip oil nourishes, protects and supports skin renewal, and can be used in nail and hair care. Often called the queen of antioxidant oils, it is described as gentle enough for sensitive skin. This dry oil absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling smooth, soft and supple. It may support cell renewal, a natural exfoliating effect, reduced hyperpigmentation and a brighter, more even complexion, and refers to increased collagen.
Evening primrose oil moisturises, softens, nourishes and cleanses the skin. It is also associated with pigmentation, renewal, irritation and flaking. Indigenous Americans used evening primrose poultices for bruises and wounds, and the juice of its stems and leaves for skin inflammation. Its seed oil contains omega-6 fatty acids. It has been used in care for eczema and psoriasis, moisturising through reduced transepidermal water loss, and the potential of its linoleic acid content to improve skin tone and acne scars.
Grape seed oil nourishes, moisturises and tones the skin. It is associated with smoothing wrinkles and caring for blemish-prone and mature skin. It contains vitamin E and essential fatty acids, including linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. These help soften and moisturise skin. These ingredients may support collagen, skin tone and the protection and restoration of cell membranes, with reduced visible wrinkles and scars. Grape seed oil is light, absorbs quickly and is described as non-comedogenic. It complements essential oils and blends with oils such as avocado, almond and jojoba for skin and hair care.
Avocado oil nourishes and helps protect the skin, and is used in hair and nail care. Its main fatty acids include oleic, palmitic, palmitoleic, linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids. It also contains beta-carotene, lecithin, minerals and vitamins A, C, D and E. It helps keep skin soft and moisturised, anti-inflammatory effects and reduced itching associated with eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or dryness. Its antioxidant activity and effects on collagen are associated with reduced visible lines, wrinkles and dark spots, and maintained elasticity. For dry lips, it is described as helping retain moisture and form a protective barrier. In hair care, it supports scalp health, follicle nourishment, reduced oxidative stress and healthier growth. Fatty acids help moisturise the scalp and reduce dryness and flaking. For dry, curly or unruly hair, the oil forms a protective coating, helps seal the cuticle, retains moisture and makes hair softer, shinier and easier to detangle, with less breakage and split ends.
aromatic mango oil is extracted from fruit using a plant-oil base, without artificial fragrances or colours. It describes deep skin moisturising, pore cleansing and care for dry, irritated or itchy skin. Its fatty acids and vitamins A, C and E are described as nourishing, moisturising and strengthening hair, increasing volume and preventing hair loss. Antioxidants and vitamins A and E are linked to skin-cell renewal, smoother, more supple skin and reduced early signs of ageing.

Antifungal and antimicrobial properties may help with dandruff and keeping hair moisturised. Its fresh citrus fragrance is associated with an uplifted mood, restored focus, relaxation and relief from stress and fatigue. Its aroma is associated with physical and mental wellbeing and dopamine.
Squalane is a saturated fat derived from squalene, which is present in human skin oils. It is associated with deep moisturising, nutrient delivery, oxygenation and skin firmness. Squalane absorbs easily and helps prevent moisture loss. It is also described as adding radiance, reducing visible fine lines and redness, and being non-comedogenic and suitable for different skin types. In hair care, it forms a protective coating and provides moisture. It supports a moisturised scalp, fuller and shinier hair, reduced frizz and fewer split ends.
Caprylic/capric triglycerides are produced from coconut oil through a semi-synthetic process. They are emollients that soften and smooth the skin and help it retain moisture. This moisturising action is associated with reduced visible wrinkles and refers to antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. This ingredient acts as a carrier for vitamins and other active ingredients, leaving skin feeling soft. Its plant-derived base is described as neutral, compatible with skin and non-allergenic. Although these triglycerides do not occur in this form in nature, they are used in many cosmetic products for their nature-derived properties.
Vitamin E is described as nourishing and renewing the skin, supporting healing of small wounds and cuts, and reducing wrinkles. As an oil-soluble nutrient, it is heavier than water-soluble products. It helps prevent moisture loss, restoring dull skin and supporting collagen and elasticity. It also describes antioxidant effects against UV-related free radicals, dark spots and sunburn, with soothing and restorative effects on sun-exposed skin. A few drops in oil form are suggested for dry cuticles and nails. It is also associated with moisturising and balancing the scalp, supporting strong hair growth, and reducing premature greying through antioxidant activity.
